Carole and Glenn Johnson Jr. moved to Greensburg in 1977. Glenn Jr. served Troop 480 as Scoutmaster 1979-1981 and as Committee Chair 1996-1997. He is still a member of our Troop and has been active in Westmoreland Fayette Council for years. Recently, Glenn Jr. receive his 65th anniversary pin for service to Scouting. Glenn Jr. and Carole's Son, Glenn Johnson III, received his Eagle Scout award from Troop 480 in 1982. Glenn III passed away in January, 2024.
In memory of Glenn III, Carole and Glenn Jr. donated a new Shotgun range to Camp Conestoga and the Westmoreland Fayette Council. This new facility was dedicated on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 and will be available for Scouts to use beginning at summer camp this year.
